January 17 – Joy

Lord, I pray my children would be filled with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.  And as Paul writes, I pray they would be surrounded with amazing friends and mentors to imitate and learn from in the midst of hard times.  In Jesus Name, Amen.

And you set yourselves to become imitators of us and of the Lord Himself, for you welcomed our message in spirit of much persecution, with joy inspired by the Holy Spirit.  (1 Thess 1:6 Amplified)
