31 Days of Praying Over Our Children – Perseverance

January 18th – Perseverance

Lord, I ask that my children would throw off anything and everything that hinders them and the sin that wants to entangle their lives.  I pray they would run with perseverance – a steady and patience endurance –  this life you have marked for them.  I pray they would always keep their eyes on You, Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith.  In Jesus Name, Amen.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.  Hebrews 12:1-2
