Cloudy With A Chance Of Encouragement {More Than Fine}

Meet Brent’s lunch box.

This puppy is jam-packed with nutrients via a turkey sandwich, cottage cheese, peaches, a protein bar and a honey crisp apple. All compliments of yours truly.  {Que – back pat}

But if you look closely, there are a couple of things a bit “off” with this picture.

First, Brent will be sporting a Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs lunch sack to the office today.  Can I just say, I am impressed with my man’s security?  I am super impressed he can carry a cartoon lunch bag and still embody all things masculine.   Such. A. Stud.

And second, his cottage cheese looks to have expired.

Well.

Mamaw always said those dates are wrong.  I am bankin’ on that one today.

But surely all is redeemed by those hot pink words of encouragement on that little note there.

Encourage {parakaleō}  STRENGTHEN. EXHORT.

Do you realize that YOU have the power to strengthen your spouse today with a word of encouragement? God wants to use you as His mouthpiece to SPEAK LIFE and EXHORT your husband or wife.  

Take five seconds…write a note.  Send a text.  Call just to say “I love you.”  Maybe a spontaneous lunch date!  Or fix his favorite dinner!

{But make sure the ingredients haven’t expired. Just incase Mamaw is wrong.}

Just because it is a cloudy day here in Tennessee, doesn’t mean there can’t be a chance of encouragement.
