Jesus & Joe:  A Coffee Devotional

This morning I came home from an early class at the gym.  All was perfectly normal.  Brent brewing coffee.  The kids were sleeping. And quiet.

Or so I thought.

Until I walked around the corner from the kitchen to find this…

Luke. Up and in full Sonic Hedgehog costume.

At 6:25 am

Life is full of surprises.

With Luke, everyday brings joy and new adventures.

As does a walk with God.

This morning, sip your coffee and know that God has already gone before you today, preparing for you blessings and surprise.

He is closer than your breath.  And around every corner, still.

His mercies never come to an end; They are new every morning.  Lamentations 3:23

Look for Him today.  Anticipate surprise and joy.

Lord, we love you.  Thank you for Tuesday. Thank you for August 19th. Thank you for new mercies every morning. THank you for laughter. And surprises. In Jesus Name, Amen.
