An Invitation… For You

Two years ago, I began meeting with a career coach to help me discern God’s movement in business and the growth I needed to move forward.

Ironically, instead of a huge step on some corporate ladder, the Lord invited me into a three month Sabbatical. Time to stop, steady and center my life on what mattered most.

During my time with Joy, I felt freedom to open my heart and dream of ministry. And although it seemed unfathomable that I would ever have time to build ANYTHING but a skincare company, I knew this dream lived deep within me.

Two weeks ago today, the news came – my company completely restructured – and now all I see before me is that which I couldn’t imagine…

Time.

A few days into the announcement I reached back to Joy and asked for a triage call 🙂 Just a quick moment with her to sort through such life-altering news and what this could mean for my future career.

It only took me a few minutes to address my long held ministry dream. It was never buried very deep. Always surfacing back to the top.

“Is it too soon, Joy? To start something? The Lord has deposited so many ideas for this, so much content, but this news is so fresh. And what if no one comes? It feels so risky. Should I wait?”

A brief pause.

“Becky, we have been together for two years. And for two years you have talked of doing this. Your dream of ministry. Of leading women in this way. So… What if they don’t come? But….

What if they do?

You can not have one foot on the brake and another on the accelerator. The time has come.”

And indeed it has.

Spiritual Business Builders: Grounding Down for Upward Growth

This program is designed to establish a Christ-Centered Foundation for Business Builders.  Together, we will work through spiritual practices to strengthen your awareness of God, grow deeper in your understanding of the Word,  better notice God’s activity in your present moment and build your business on the firm foundation of Christ. 

Not currently working a business right now?  This program is STILL for you.  These ancient practices of Jesus are for US ALL – everyday – no matter your current circumstance.  This course is about CHRIST… at the helm of our lives, CEO of our businesses and King of our Heart.

Practices such as Centering prayer, Lectio Divina, Prayer of Examen, Fixed Hour Prayer, Discernment, etc will be helpful as you navigate this present moment and help you pay closer attention to your soul. Currently we have a variety of women registered! Stay at home moms, real estate agents, ministry leaders, sales executives, direct sales affiliates, veterinarians, grandmothers, yoga teachers, empty nesters, social media influencers… the whole kit an caboodle! And I couldn’t be happier!!!

Details: Beginning July 29th we will meet Monday-Friday for two weeks (with weekend content for reflection).  The meetings will be held via zoom at 9:30am EST and last around 30 minutes.  Can’t make it live?  No worries. Sessions will be recorded and sent via email each day, complete with coinciding reflection material. 

It is not too late!! Even if you see this after July 29th, content can still be sent for your own self-paced study.

And – This is not your typical business course – just FYI. I won’t be teaching you how to make yourself bigger, an Instagram star or a better sales force on your team.

Instead the invitation is that of Christ… who did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And… humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. (Phil 2:5-11)

True growth starts here: Emptying ourselves, humility, servanthood, and dying to our definition of success so that Christ may be exalted.

Building Him Kingdom. Not ours.
